Portrait painter. Born in Kentucky in March 1860. DeJoiner moved to San Francisco in 1894. After the earthquake of 1906, he moved across the bay to Alameda and by 1920 he was living in Santa Cruz. He died in Los Angeles on Dec. 5, 1924. | Source: Edan Hughes, "Artists in California, 1786-1940"
