While attending Santa Monica high school, Ellie Freudenstein twice won
National Scholastic Art Awards. She studied under Lucille Brown
Green and also attended the Art Center College of Design in Los
Angeles, California.
Following high school, she attended UCLA,
earning a B.A. in Fine Arts with Honors. She did graduate work at
UCLA under the direction of William Brice, Jan Stussey, Sam Amoto and
Rico Lebrun. After a career in graphic design and raising a
