Born in Krk, Croatia, Zivko Zic fled his country during the Communist invasion. He settled in Rome, Italy, where he simultaneously enrolled at the Scuola di Medicina, the Universita di Roma, and La Accademia di Belle Arti. In 1947, following three years of studies in Italy, he moved to Buenos Aires where he lived until 1962 and actively pursued his painting career.
In 1962, he emigrated to the United States and lived in Chicago until 1989, and then moved to Tucson, Arizona, which he had (showing 500 of 3108 characters). |
