| Walt LaRue was born in Canada on Aug. 18, 1918. LaRue spent his early life as a guide in Glacier National Park and Yosemite. For several years he was a rodeo rider which led to his work in movies as a stunt man. When not working in these endeavors, he sketched and painted, mostly western subjects. He died in Burbank, CA on June 12, 2010.
