| Katherine Jones Hunley was born in Beacon, IA on Sept. 12, 1883. Jones received a teacher's certificate from the Colorado State Teacher's College and studied at the AIC before settling in southern California in 1908. There she continued at the Batchelder School of Design while teaching art at Redlands High School. About 1914 she wed a teacher at that school, Charles Hunley. Her summers were often spent in Laguna Beach. Most of her works are landscapes of Laguna and (showing 500 of 997 characters). |
