| Born in Bananza, Nebraska on Nov. 12, 1888. After studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, Myers remained in Chicago where he became a close friend of Edgar and Elsie Payne. In 1915 he was in California and spent several weeks painting on Santa Cruz Island with the Paynes. He died in New Mexico in June 1965.
