Likely the same person as Adela Barret, Adele Barret was active in
Chicago as a sculptor and exhibited at the Art Institute in 1923 and
1939. In 1921, she and her husband, Artur Bruckner Barret became
active in art circles in St. Augustine, Florida where Adele was active
in the Galleon Club by 1925 and served as that group's general
Director. She gave classes in painting and drawing.
In Florida, the couple lived on San Marco Avenue, once the home of
painter Martin J (showing 500 of 725 characters). |
