From Bordentown, New Jersey, Al Barker is a painter of landscapes,
seascapes, wildlife, and tidal marshes so characteristic of his home
state where he has had a fine art career for over thirty years.
He paints with oil and watercolor and also does etchings. A
specialty is miniature painting and he has entered numerous exhibitions
of the National Miniature Society.
In the spring of 2006, he won the Alden Bryan Memorial Award for
Traditional Landscape at the Salmagundi (showing 500 of 1045 characters). |
