Andre Bachand (1917-1983) is a self made painter. Best know for old traditional houses and countryside landscapes. Graduate of the Technical school in Montreal in late 30"s, some study at Montreal fine arts school. He was a friend of Maurice Lebel and worked with Marcel Choquette and Mr. Leroux,
He spent most of his working years as technician and later director of the technical service at City of Montreal. He was responsible from 1968 to 1972 for the 21 pavilions maintained at " (showing 500 of 884 characters). |
