Co-founder
and co-chairman of the Society of Independent Artists, Antun Bahunek is
a native of Croatia. In the early 1960s, he developed his own
technique and painted in the pointillist style in oil on
canvas. The forms and figures are composed of small colored
circles.
He considers himself even more closely to the presentation of nature, but paints his trees in purple, orange or blue.
Exhibitions
since 1957 have been in Belgrade, Cacak, Ljubljana, Skopje, Zagreb,
Bologna, Budapest, Frankfurt, Helsinki and Munich.
