| Active in Connecticut, Barbara Borck-Hart is known for her paintings of the sport of polo and her work has been on the covers of "Myopia Polo," July, 1999 and "Polo Player's Edition," November, 1999.
She has been an Artist-in-Residence in Westport and Bridgeport and an Associate Professor of Visual Design and Media Communication for the graduate study School of communication at Fairfield University at Fairfield, Connecticut. She also held Associate Professorships at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport and Norwalk Community College in Norwalk. For public television in Fairfield, she has been a graphics coordinator for "Channel 19 Magazine."
Borck-Hart has exhibited at the Salmagundi Club and National Arts Club in New York and in 1998, at the Classic Polo Art Exhibition at the Museum of Polo in Lake Worth, Florida. She is a member of the Salmagundi Club, New York, the Women's Caucus of Art and the Westport, Connecticut Arts Center.
Her work is in the following collections: Connecticut Public Television in Hartford, Connecticut; General Electric Corporation and Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. In New York City, her painting is in the collections of the Women's Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust. |
