| | Born in Oakland, CA on May 5, 1901. Beatrice Boot studied painting and textile design with Hans Hofmann at UC Berkeley, Columbia University, and the CSFA. In 1947 she married architect Theodore Bernardi and five years later settled in Sausalito, CA where she continued to paint until shortly before her demise on Nov. 9, 1991. Her work includes architectural scenes.
