| Braldt Bralds was born in the Netherlands and attended the Grafische School. In 1978 he moved to the United States. His work has appeared in Time Magazine, Newsweek, Omni, TV Guide, Rolling Stone and National Geographic.
Bralds is an instructor at the School of Visual Arts in New York and lectures worldwide. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Art Institutes International.
The Artist's awards include an Andy, a Cleo, three gold and three silver medals, and the Hamilton King Award from the Society of Illustrators.
