 A native son of the Crescent City, Brice's artistic career began with puppet shows when he was a sixth grader. They were produced in the hallway of the housing project where he lived. His favorite subject, also in painting, are the people of New Orleans and their city. His subjects cover the special events being held in the city, like Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Jazz funerals, etc. He was the first commissioned artist for the official New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival poster.
