Biography from Paderewski Fine Art:
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BFA in graphic design, Bucky began his career as a staff artist at Royal Crown Cola Co., Columbus, Georgia.  He later became an Art director for an Atlanta Advertising and Design Agency and then became Creative Director for Litho-Krome Company, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc.  While at Litho-Krome, he served in a variety of  positions including their Limited Edition Art Print division that produced fine art prints for national and international art publishers before leaving the company in October 2000 to devote more time to his art.

In the early nineteen nineties Bowles was painting historical areas and scenes of Columbus, Georgia.  By the mid nineties commissioned paintings were taking more of his painting time and he began producing limited edition prints of some of his work.  As a life long outdoorsman, his favorite painting subjects are sporting art and wildlife landscapes.
