| The following information was submitted by Angela Lawson, April 2008
Burling Boaz, Jr. exhibited at the Hoosier Salon Solon, 1952; Indiana Art Show and Indiana State Fair. His prizes include Hoosier Salon 1948 and 1961. Burling Boaz was a teacher at the Herron School of Art. In 1914, he started a display and commercial art business. He began his art career as designer of stained glass windows for churches while working for the Erkins Co. of Cincinnati, OH. He also designed ornamental iron for another Cincinnati firm.
