Cecil Buller Murphy (nee Tremayne Buller) 1888-1973
She was born in 1888 in Montreal, Canada. Best known as a print maker, Buller studied with William Brymner at the Art Association of Montreal and at the Art Students League in New York (1910). In 1912 she traveled to Paris with Edwin Holgate, and there she studied with Maurice Denis. In 1916 she was in London, England, studying with Noel Rooke at the Central School of Art and Design, and by 1918 she had settle (showing 500 of 9265 characters). |
