| Born in Michigan on Oct. 1, 1883. Bradley moved to Los Angeles in 1903. Although both parents were artists and he was raised in an artistic milieu, he was not interested in art until the late 1920s. His good friend Jack Wilkinson Smith inspired him to paint. A businessman, he painted in his leisure until retirement in 1941. Moving to a studio-home in Laguna Beach, he devoted his remaining years to painting. He was active in the local art scene and was director of the Laguna Art Ass'n at the time of his demise on Jan. 30, 1954.
