| | Born on Feb. 27, 1864 in Montreal, Canada. Broughton studied art in Toronto and continued in NYC at the ASL and NAD. After moving to California in 1927, his painting specialty was landscapes with wild flowers. He died in Los Angeles on April 10, 1945.
