| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 4, 1888. Bronson was a sign painter for the Swan Company in his native city for many years. A self-taught artist, in his leisure he painted fine art, mostly seascapes and the sailing vessels which passed through the Golden Gate. His last years were spent in Napa, CA; he died there on Jan. 7, 1962. | Source:
