This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Inspired by birds, Chris Bacon creates small, finely rendered
watercolor and alkyd compositions. He lives in Burlington, Ontario,
Canada. He was born in England and traveled extensively before
settling in Canada. He had his first gallery show at age nineteen
and sold all twenty-two of his watercolors. He has received
several awards of excellence from the Society of Animal Artists and is
included in numerous wildlife art books.
Chris Bacon was the Master Wildlife Artist for the 2004 "Birds in Art" exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum of Art.
