Keith Blanchard was born in Austin, Texas in 1956. He studied under Amado Pena and later graduated with honors from the Southwest Texas State University in 1979 receiving a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
Blanchard is a prominent water colorist whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in many private collections on three continents.
