David Buchanan exhibited at the Royal Academy, the RWA and at many other exhibitions. Known for his watercolor work - from his time in the Western Desert and Italy during the WWII, but collections of his work exist recording journeys he made throughout England and Scotland in the 1920's. His large oil paintings are often reworkings of his watercolors. In later life, he was commissioned to paint numerous portraits (usually in oil). As a very young man his first picture was accep (showing 500 of 819 characters). |
