Dorothy Elaine (Woods, Vadala) Barta was named National Mother of the Year
2000 by American Mothers Inc., (americanmothers.org). She has successfully
raised 11 children in a blended family all of whom are accomplished in their
chosen fields and good parents. All 11 and six spouses attended the AMI
National Convention at the Waldorf Astoria, in New York City, April 25-29,
