| | Born in Bath, England on Oct. 2, 1891. Dorothy Humphries immigrated to Sierra Madre, CA in 1894. She was educated at Pasadena High School and Pomona College. After her marriage to Francis Baugh in 1915, she lived in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Duarte. Mrs. Baugh did not pursue an art career until 1934 when she began taking classes in the adult programs of the Los Angeles city schools. She died in Duarte, CA on Dec. 6, 1983. She attended Pasadena High School and Pomona College and began her art career seriously in 1934. She took her first art classes at the Los Angeles City Schools. |
