| | Born in Oakland, CA on Jan. 4, 1914. Dorothy was artistically inclined at an early age and won prizes for her art while in high school. After her marriage in 1933 to Phillip Bouthillier, she abandoned her artwork until the 1940s. While active in the art scene in the Oakland-Hayward area, she studied painting at the CCAC and with Louise Cunningham. She is currently a resident of Soquel, CA.
