Doug Beekman grew up in northwestern
Ohio. At age 19, he moved to New York City, enrolling at the
School of Visual Arts and then the Art Students League of New York,
where he studied with Daniel Greene, David Leffel and the late Robert
E. Schulz.
On completion of his studies, Doug began creating illustration art of
fantasy subjects for numerous book and magazine publishers, winning
many awards for his efforts. Some 300 book covers and even more
magazine and commerc (showing 500 of 1476 characters). |
