| A fifth generation Coloradan, Duke Beardsley has been drawing and painting the West for as long as he can remember. An avid outdoorsman, horseman, and fly fisherman, he paints what he loves. Duke and his wife now live and work in Denver.
Duke Beardsley graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont with a BA in Art History and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a BFA in Illustration. He received the 2001 People's Choice Award in the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming.
He was featured in the September 2001 issue of Southwest Art magazine in the article 21 Under 31. Among those collecting his work are The Forbes Collection, UMB Banks, and Invesco.

| Duke Beardsley was born in Denver in 1969. He is a fifth generation Coloradan whose western roots run deep and are integral to the subjects he paints. Raised in Denver and on a family cattle ranch in eastern Colorado, Duke has been drawing and painting images of the American West as long as he can remember. His unique blend of modern art styling and traditional western iconography reflects his upbringing and has made him a popular favorite among fans of contemporary American western art.
Duke's work has been featured in notable exhibitions across the United States including the Coors Western Art Show, The Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale, The CM Russell Show and the Colorado Governor’s Invitational Art Exhibit. In 2007 Duke’s work was included in Out West: The Great American Landscape, a groundbreaking exhibition of contemporary American western art which toured China.
In 2008 Duke was honored by the Colorado Council for the Arts in their selection of his work “Colorado Horsepower” as the award for the 2008 Colorado Governor’s Art Award.
Duke’s work is collected worldwide and can be found in such notable collections as the Forbes Collection, the Denver Art Museum, The Booth Western Art Museum and the State of Colorado.

between Denver and his family’s cattle ranch in eastern Colorado, Duke
has been drawing and painting images of the American West most of his
life. Duke’s work blends modern artistic elements with the
traditional icons of the west. The result has made him a
consistently popular favorite among fans of contemporary western art.
His

Exhibit. His work was also included in the 2007 groundbreaking
contemporary western art exhibition that toured China – Out West: The
Great American Landscape. Duke also won the 2008 Colorado Governor’s
Award for his piece entitled “Colorado Horsepower”.
