| Earl J. Bowater was born in Wisconsin in 1897. Bowater was an insurance appraiser while a resident of San Francisco in 1930 and Redwood City in 1934. He died in Harris County, TX on May 24, 1969. His rare paintings include scenes of northern California.
Exhibited: California State Fair, 1934.
