| | Born in Oroville, CA on July 6, 1899. Edith studied at Chico State University. After settling in Santa Rosa, she taught school for a few years before her marriage to Wm Bruning. The wild flowers of the Valley of the Moon provided much of her subject matter. She died in Santa Rosa on June 15, 1961. Member: League of American Pen Women.
