| | Born in Scotland on March 27, 1862. Berwick immigrated to San Francisco in 1883 and four years later settled across the bay in Oakland. She was most active in the local art scene at the turn of the century. Primarily a landscape painter, she derived her subject matter from the San Francisco Bay area.
