This biography from the Archives of AskART:
|  Edwin Burnley was a commercial artist, teacher, and designer. He studied
at the University of Alberta, and the Toronto School of Art with Eustace
Ziegler, and F. Tadams.
He and his wife founded and operated the Burnley School of Fine
Art in Seattle, Washington.
Burnley was a member of the North
West Water Color Society, Puget Sound Group of North West Painters, and
Artists Equity.
