| Former Colorado Springs artist, Eric Bransby has been chosen to paint
the Rockhurst Library Triptych Mural at the University of Missouri at
Kansas City, where he is an associate professor of Art.
Bransby
has painted murals for Brigham Young University, Utah, and the Air
Force Academy, Colorado College, and the Air Defense Command. A
student of Thomas Hart Benton, he has also studied under Jean Charlot,
Boardman Robinson, and Josef Albers. He is a member of the
National Society of Mural Painters.
A resident of Colorado
Springs for many years, living at Rock Creek south of the City, Bransby
is a graduate of College and the Fine Arts Center.
