Ernest Bieler (1863 – 1948)
Ernest Bieler was an important Swiss painter, draftsman, printmaker and
muralist. He was born in Rolle, Switzerland and died in Lausanne,
Switzerland. He also lived in Paris, France (c.1880 – 1892, and after
1909); Geneva, Switzerland (c.1892); and Savièse, Switzerland (c.1896 –
