Member of Rockport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association, Women Painters of Connecticut, Academy in Hartford. Academic Artists of Springfield, MA, Classic Artists of Connecticut.
Was President of Hartford Society of Women Painters and 1st Vice-President of Academic Artists.
Work has won many awards, latest being Clarksburg, West Virginia. Has had a number of one-man shows.

| Born Flora Elizabeth Steiberitz on September 13, 1891 in Arthur, Tennessee, she lived most of her adult life in Connecticut. Some of her paintings were done in Rockport, Massachusetts.
Flora Binks died in December of 1977.
