| Florence Harney Butler was born in Rock Island, Illinois on October 16, 1873. Butler taught in private and public schools while a resident of Berkeley in 1901, San Francisco 1903-06, and Oakland in 1910. A spinster, she died in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 14, 1959.
Exhibited: San Francisco Art Ass’n, 1901-05; Guild of Arts & Crafts (SF), 1904-06.
