| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 11, 1891. "Frank" Berier studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute from 1898 to 1912. After serving in WWI, he returned to San Francisco and worked as an artist. In 1927 he became a surveyor and moved to San Diego where he remained until his death on July 29, 1948. | Source:
