A sculptor of western subjects and wildlife, Fred Boyer has his studio in Anaconda, Montana, where he grew up.  From childhood, he showed interest and talent for painting and drawing.  After highschool, he majored in art education at Montana State University in Bozeman, and following graduation went to Sitka, Alaska where for several years he taught school and served as a hunting guide.

Returning to his home town, he worked as a smoke jumper and taught art in the publi (showing 500 of 882 characters).
