| Frederic Charles Barienbrock was born in Massachusetts on Oct. 16, 1904. Barienbrock had moved to southern California by 1925.
After settling in Santa Monica, he practiced architecture there for fifty years. He died there on April 26, 1978. In his leisure he painted scenes of the area around his home.
