| Little is known about this man except that he was an English painter who sketched in the American West. Some sources mention that a Frank Bacon was raised on his father's sheep ranch by Marysville, California and that he was a photographer. There is also a reference that he was an engraver, painter and illustrator and was born in London and died in California.
