| | Born in Chicago, IL on Aug. 27, 1888. Genevieve Thompson studied at the New York School of Applied Design. In 1911 she wed Daniel Beecher and settled in Los Angeles. She further studied there at the Chouinard and Otis Institutes, and with Paul Lauritz. Mrs. Beecher had homes in both Hermosa Beach and Los Angeles until her death in the latter on Oct. 25, 1954.
