Born in Corsicana, Texas, he became a sculptor in abstract styles of works including the "Nebraska Wind Sculpture" along Interstate Highway 80 at the Kearney interchange. In this endeavor, he was selected as one of ten finalists nationwide. He has many other pieces exhibited in California including a fountain at the World Trade Center in Long Beach and a kinetic fountain at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
