| Born in Northfield, Minnesota George Blodgett became a sculptor of bronze works including medallic portrait heads of New Mexico Indians whose cultural differences was the focus of much of his career.
He studied at Oregon State College,and the Julian Academy in Paris. Exhibition venues included the Grand Central Art Galleries in New York.
