|  Born in Petaluma, CA on June 13, 1877, Georgia Graves married Fred A. Bordwell at an early age and lived in San Francisco and Bakersfield. As well as painting she also wrote articles for newspapers and Sunset magazine.
She made many sketching trips to Tucson and Mexico before her death in Oakland, CA on Nov. 20, 1925.
