This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Known for her pastel still-life paintings in a style related to Fauvism and Impressionism, Georgiana Bart lives and has her studio in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She paints landscape subjects and gives art lessons.

Georgiana Bart is an elected member of the Salmagundi Club, National Association of Women Artists, American Society of Contemporary Artists, Audubon Artists and Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club---all of New York City. At the National Arts Club, also in New York City, she received two awards in one exhibition for her painting, "Yellow Mug Series".

Cray is a cum-laude graduate of Wilkes University and has a Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught art at various levels including University.

Of her still-life painting, Art Critic Al Sarkas wrote that they have a "freshness that sometimes is lacking in many paintings today" with "colors that go so well with each painting to make the composition brilliant".
