Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
| Portraitist, muralist, etcher. Born in Sussex, England on Nov. 12, 1883. Birch studied at the Slade School of Art in London and with Georges Desvallieres and Prinet in Paris. She settled in Pasadena about 1919 and was active there until her death on Feb. 8, 1972. Her married name was Duncan. Member: Calif. Art Club; Calif. PM Society; Pasadena AA; AFA. Exh: Pasadena Society of Artists; Provincial Expo, Victoria BC, 1932 (award); GGIE; NY Worlds Fair, 1939.
