| A native of Colorado Springs, Grace Bartlett became a landscape painter who studied with Randall Davey when he taught at the Broadmoor Academy in 1925. She subsequently became a teacher there and also earned a reputation as a noted woodcarver.
In the 1930s, she lived in Redlands, California, but returned to Colorado Springs for the remainder of her career. At the time of her death, her married name was Glassick.
