| Gustav Frederick Brock was born in San Francisco in 1881. Brock painted both miniature and full-size portraits. During the silent film era he hand-colored scenes from a number of motion pictures. He later lived in New York.
Exhibited: Panama-Pacific International Exposition (San Francisco), 1915.
