| | Born in Wilmington, NC in 1813. Having learned photography in New Orleans, Bradley was one of the first to arrive in California with the Gold Rush. Unsucessful at mining, he settled in San Francisco where he established a photography gallery. He closed the business in 1878 and moved across the bay to Alameda where he remained until his death on April 27, 1891. Exh: Calif. State Fair, 1856. | Source:
