| Inez Hill Bailey was an artist active in Spokane, Washington for several decades. She was initially trained in Boston, Massachusetts, and Duluth, Minnesota. She relocated to Spokane around 1930 where she studied with Maude Sutton and at the Spokane Art Center, with Worth McCoy and George Lainer.
Her Influences include the German Expressionists, Kirchner and Nolde, French artist Rouault and American Artists Thomas Hart Benton And Marsden Hartley.
Besides her activities as a painter, Bailey was Head Surgical Nurse for Edgecliff Hospital in Spokane for many years. She was a Charter Member for the American Penwomen and was a member of the Washington Art Association.
